Casa Albatros II

Casa Albratros II is a property created by the multidisciplinary team of Syga Making Architecture, the project is carried out thanks to the awarding of a private competition in 2014. The house is composed of two floors above ground 360m2 and one basement floor of 220m2. The ground floor is intended mainly for the living room, kitchen, office and guest room, this floor opens to the outside garden and backyard area through the living room, with the possibility of total opening of facade carpentry allowing to generate a single space at the same interior-exterior level.
The first floor is intended for the bedrooms, it has an independent area for the main room with circular communication between room-bathroom-dressing room, detached from two suite rooms with independent bathrooms by means of an open distributor through a double height of 7 meters. The basement has complementary uses for housing, laundry, storage, gym and garage. The shape of the house relates to a thermodynamic study of the solar incidence with which winter-summer sunning is used in order to optimize indoor comfort and energy consumption, obtaining a consumption destined to zero air conditioning, with an average indoor temperature of 25º without the need for energy input.
