Stand Vibia Euroluce. Salone del Mobile. Milano 2019

Vibia Euroluce 2019

To evolve together with the brand's narrative, Vibia's stand for the new edition of Euroluce, at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, delves more than ever into each of the collections that the lighting company presents, adapting each space to its technical specifications. In this sense, the acrobatic discourse of the Plusminus collection by Stefan Diez has a lattice ceiling at its disposal to facilitate its hold, while for the Stick system by Arik Levy a space is raised at a greater height. From a very marked architectural envelope, four openings invite the visitor to the multiple scenarios of the interior where curtains are deployed - in pink, blue and green - that embrace the luminaries.

With the intention of generating a main route in the longitudinal direction, a central avenue allows you to walk between two of the poles, discovering the collections housed on the sides. This plan includes a customer service area, flanked by a rest area, and a work space illuminated by the Ichiro Iwasaki Tube collection. The core echoes the memory of the stand, representing as in the previous designs a composition of curved benches. These in addition to fulfilling the seat function provide additional storage.

The poplar skin of the stand has a light coat of paint that lightens and smoothes it, while still allowing to appreciate the drawing of natural wood. Distributed throughout the stand concrete blocks painted in the same color palette of the curtains -some covered with a surface of shiny MDF-, they host a selection of ceramic pieces -work by Glòria Carrillo de Pols Ceramic-. The still lifes establish a fluid dialogue with the luminaries, while they invite the viewer to look slowly.
